Hello, People Reading This
Last time I wrote something here, I think it was 2 weeks ago? Or something. I really can't remember. I am here to kind of vent about something, that is the fucking internet. OMG, I really dislike it but fucking love it at the same time. It's a drug for all ages.
The internet is a weird fucking place. It offers everything and, more importantly, it offers anyone a platform to express themselves, rant about shit, give hot takes about things they know nothing about. And that annoys me, and it is dangerous. We are in an age where clout is everything. Internet fame, showcasing every minute detail about your life.
"Oh, your mom died? Just take a picture next to her grave and here you go, some sympathy followers."
"Oh, someone in front of you broke his leg and is begging for help? Just film him in agony and post it on Twitter; that will get you some fame."
"You moved to a new house? Oh, come on. How about a tour. Show us everything—the door, the cabinet, the ceiling. You are the best, keep it up and post it for everyone to see."
And if a global pandemic hits or war in any place, you could say how easy it is and the solution is.
"Fuck the government," says this guy.
"Fuck you," replies the other.
With the internet's anonymity, you get nothing, you achieve nothing. No one knows anything. We are all lost and confused. Don't expect people to listen, believe, or act the way you want them to because it's the internet. Where anonymity pumps people up to spew whatever crosses their minds, totally ignoring how it hits others or fucks with any chance of a productive conversation
